Simmons Family Farm

Rooted in History and Growing for Today

I grew up on this historic 100-acre farm in Middletown, Rhode Island - a place where the seasons shaped every part of my life. My grandparents and great-grandparents were my neighbors and farm life was woven into my childhood. I still remember my first job: working in my grandmother's vegetable stand, selling vegetables and flowers while my grandfather tended his dairy cows. Those early experiences taught me the joy of sharing the fruits of the land, being mindful of the soil and taking care of the animals

Now I am joined by my husband Anthony, my oldest son Ethan, and my dad Alex. Together we grow fresh, seasonal flowers for your home using sustainable practices. Some of which include utilizing careful irrigation, healthy soil, and compost from our animals. We also grow vegetables for your table  and welcome visitors of all ages to visit our barnyard, relax in the lawn chairs and gather at the picnic table.

My family created this farm because we appreciate and love the beauty in the outdoors. From the simple joy of fresh blooms, to knowing where your food comes from and to time spent in nature even if only to escape from the complexities of modern life. Whether your picking up flowers, produce, or visiting with the animals, we hope Simmons Family Farm feels like a place to pause, breathe and enjoy the simple pleasures of farm life.

Warmly,

Christine
